The Algonquin Thunder women’s basketball program was fortunate to have Jenny Duval (Allen) on its roster for four years—a true role model and exemplary student-athlete both on and off the court.

Throughout her collegiate career, Jenny earned every colour of OCAA medal, capped by a gold in 2010-11, where she was named Championship MVP. That same season, the Thunder earned a national silver medal, with Jenny being recognized as a CCAA All-Canadian and CCAA Championship First-Team All-Star. Her consistent performance also earned her multiple OCAA League and Championship All-Star honours.

Academically, Jenny began in Recreation Facilities Management before switching to and graduating from both the Fitness and Health Promotions and Event Management programs. Following graduation in 2011, she joined the Algonquin Students’ Association Athletics Department full-time and has since been promoted into a management role.
