Roland Tiamuh began his collegiate career at Algonquin College in 1997, excelling as a two-sport athlete in both soccer and basketball. He was a standout for the Thunder, playing as a dominant midfielder and point guard.
Tiamuh played a key role in helping the Algonquin men’s soccer team win the 1999 OCAA championship, earning a spot on the Championship All-Star team. That season, the team went on to capture a silver medal at the national championship.
In 2003, he competed with the Ottawa Wizards, a semi-professional team, and in 2004, he was part of the Ottawa Royals premier squad that claimed the Ontario championship.
After moving to Nova Scotia in 2007, Tiamuh joined the Cape Breton University Capers as an assistant coach. He later returned to play with the Ottawa Royals, who were Ontario Cup finalists in 2010.
