The Wolves basketball teams will hit the road for the final time this calendar year when they take on the George Brown Huskies and Centennial Colts on back to back days in the GTA. First up, is a trip to the Alex Barbier Gymnasium at the George Brown College St. James campus on Saturday November 22nd. On Sunday November 23rd the Wolves will head to Scarborough to take on the Colts at the Centennial College Athletic and Wellness Centre.
VS George Brown
On the women's side, Algonquin enters the weekend with a 2-1 record after a come from behind victory at home against the Georgian Grizzlies the week prior. The Huskies enter the game at 1-3 after earning their 1st win of the season on Saturday against the Durham Lords.
The men's game will feature 2 teams looking for their 2nd win of the season. The Wolves enter the contest at 1-5 after a tight loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday. As for the Huskies, they dropped their last game at the hands of the Lords.
The women's game will tip-off at 6:00 pm with the men's game to follow at 8:00 pm.
VS Centennial
The Wolves will be back in action on Sunday to take on the Centennial Colts. The women's game will be an interesting matchup with Centennial entering the game with a 2-3 record. The Wolves will face a well rested Colts team who last played on November 11th when they earned a win over Durham.
On the men's side the Wolves will have their hands full with a Colts squad who is competing for the top spot in the OCAA East. They will enter the weekend with a 4-2 record after knocking off top seeded Durham and Fleming in their last 2 games. The Colts will take on the La Cité Coyotes on Saturday before hosting Algonquin on Sunday.
The women's game will tip-off at 1:00 pm with the men's game to follow at 3:00 pm.
