The Wolves basketball teams are getting ready to hit the road for the first time in 2026.  On Friday January 23rd the teams will head to Oshawa to take on the Durham Lords.  The Algonquin women's team is coming off a dominant 82-52 win over George Brown.  The men's team is off to an equally impressive start after a 92-70 win over La Cité and a 91-74 win over George Brown to start the semester.  The Wolves and Lords last met on October 31st in Ottawa, splitting the double header with the women's team earning a win and the men's team taking the loss. 

The women's game will tip-off at 6:00 pm with the men's game to follow at 8:00 pm at the Durham College Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.  

On Saturdat January 24th the men's team will travel to Peterborough to take on the Fleming Phoenix.  This is a big matchup, with Fleming currently one spot ahead of Algonquin in the OCAA East standings.  The Wolves are hoping to avenge a 1st semester loss back on November 1st at the ARC.  Tip-off is set for 3:00 pm at the Peterborough Sports and Wellness Centre.
