Wolves volleyball are getting set for the final weekend of the regular season, and you can catch the action on Friday and Saturday at the Jack Doyle Athletics and Recreation Centre.
On Friday the Seneca Sting come to town. On the women's side, this will be a big test for the Wolves as Seneca holds down the top spot in the OCAA East with an undefeated record. The Sting are also ranked 10th in the CCAA National Rankings. Seneca defeated Algonquin in straight sets in their first semester meeting. The Wolves will be looking for a different result this time around as they look to defend home court and improve on their 10-4 record.
The men's game is a similar story. The Sting hold the top spot in the OCAA East at 13-1 and are ranked 15th nationally. As for the Wolves, they sit in 4th in the East at 10-4. The last time these two teams met, Seneca came away with a 3-1 win. This will be a good measuring stick match for coach Jelle Kooijman's squad as they head into the playoffs.
The women's game is set for 6:00 pm with the men's game to follow at 8:00 pm.
