The Algonquin Wolves men's rugby team will head to Toronto this weekend to face the Seneca Sting in their final regular season game on Saturday, October 25. The stakes are clear for the Wolves: win, and they clinch a playoff berth.
Both teams enter the match with identical 1–4 records, currently tied for the sixth and final playoff position. Algonquin is aiming to qualify for the postseason for the first time since rejoining the OCAA, adding further significance to Saturday's showdown.
Despite coming off back-to-back losses, the Wolves have proven they can compete against some of the OCAA's top teams, demonstrating resilience and continuing to improve throughout the season. In their previous match up against the Sting last season, Seneca was able to pull out a 42–33 victory.
With their season on the line, the Wolves will look to empty the tank and leave it all on the field.
