The Algonquin Wolves women's rugby 7s team is back in action this weekend as they travel to Oshawa for their second tournament of the 2025 campaign. After an up-and-down start last weekend that saw the Wolves finish 1–2, the team is eager to add to their win column and build momentum heading into the heart of the season.
The competition will be tough right from the opening whistle, as the Wolves square off against the undefeated Humber Hawks (3–0) on Saturday morning—a matchup with extra meaning after Humber denied the Wolves a spot on the podium in last year's bronze medal match. Later that day, Algonquin will face the Conestoga Condors (2–1) in what promises to be another hard-fought battle.
On Sunday, the Wolves will look to capitalize against the Fleming Phoenix (0–3) before wrapping up the weekend against the Seneca Sting (1–2).
