After a weekend off, the Wolves women's rugby 7s team is back in action for their third tournament of the season. The squad travels to Brampton for a two-day competition, looking to build on their 2–5 record and gain momentum heading into the stretch run.
On Saturday, October 4, the Wolves open play against the 3–4 Seneca Sting at 11:00 a.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. matchup with the 1–6 Fleming Phoenix. On Sunday, October 5, the competition intensifies as they face the 5–2 Conestoga Condors at 10:00 a.m. before closing out the weekend at noon against the 6–1 Humber Hawks.
The Wolves met all four of these opponents in their last tournament, finishing 1–3 with a win over Fleming and hard-fought losses to Humber, Conestoga, and Seneca. With those matchups fresh in their minds, Algonquin will be eager to turn the tables, climb the standings, and build momentum heading into their final tournament of the season on October 18 in Ottawa.
