Ottawa Ont. - The Algonquin Wolves women's volleyball team is excited to welcome Pasha Ormerod as part of the 2025-26 recruiting class.
Standing at 6'0", the Terrace, BC native is a versatile athlete capable of playing leftside, middle, and rightside, giving the Wolves valuable flexibility and depth. Pasha also has experience playing in the OCAA, after playing 2 seasons for the Durham College Lords from 2018 to 2020. During her time there, she established herself as a strong net-front presence and was named to the OCAA East Division All-Rookie Team and helped the Lords earn an OCAA bronze medal in 2018-2019.
This fall, Pasha will be studying Early Childhood Education at Algonquin College. When asked why she chose Algonquin, she shared: "To further my education as well as grow with my sport."
Pasha is eager to make her mark with the Wolves, both on the court and in the classroom. "I'm most looking forward to creating connections with new people!" she said.
With her size, versatility, and experience, Pasha is a welcome addition to a Wolves roster aiming to build on last season's foundation and push for a deeper playoff run this season.
