Ottawa, ON - Fourth year setter Gabbie Paquette has etched her name into the Algonquin College women's volleyball record books this past weekend as she officially became the program's all time leader in assists. Gabbie now sits at 1,261 assists, which eclipses the previous total of 1,242 held by Sidney Sletcher, who played for Algonquin from 2017-2020.
A cornerstone of the Wolves' offense, Gabbie has been instrumental in leading a unit that currently ranks third in the OCAA with 11.28 kills per set. She fished off the first half of the season with 206 assists and a career-best 7.34 assists per set. On behalf of the Algonquin Students' Association, the Athletics Department would like to congratulate Gabbie on this amazing achievement!
